A private consultancy
Ashford Immigration, [registered company name and trade licence number to be confirmed], is a private immigration and visa consultancy based in Dubai.
We are not a government body, embassy, consulate or visa application centre. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government, embassy or immigration authority.
Government fees are set by the authority concerned. They are separate from any fees for our services. [How government fees are paid, and what Ashford’s service fees cover, to be confirmed by Ashford.]
Decisions rest with the authorities
Each government decides who receives a visa, work permit, residence or citizenship, under its own rules and at its own discretion. Education institutions decide who they admit. Employers decide who they hire and sponsor.
We cannot influence these decisions. Our role is to explain your options and help you prepare an accurate, complete and well-organised application.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee any outcome, approval or processing time. Using our services does not change how an authority assesses your application.
Please be cautious of anyone who says they can guarantee a visa or arrange special treatment from a government. We will never ask you to give false information or submit documents that are not genuine.
Information can change
Immigration rules, fees, thresholds, quotas and processing times change often, sometimes with little notice. Programmes can be paused, replaced or closed.
Our content reflects our understanding at the time it was written and may not be current when you read it. Check the official government website for the country concerned before you act.
Requirements can change. Speak with Ashford for an assessment based on your circumstances.
General information, not legal advice
The content on this website is general orientation. It is not legal advice and does not replace advice based on your full circumstances.
Results from the eligibility assessment are an initial indication only. They are not a decision on your eligibility.
Licensed representation in some countries
Some countries restrict who may give immigration advice or represent applicants.
Canada: authorised representatives. These are consultants licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), lawyers who are members of a Canadian provincial or territorial law society, notaries who are members of the Chambre des notaires du Québec, and, in Ontario, paralegals licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.
United Kingdom: advisers regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), or other authorised professionals such as solicitors.
Australia: registered migration agents, or Australian legal practitioners.
New Zealand: advisers licensed by the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA), or people exempt from licensing such as New Zealand lawyers. New Zealand’s rules also apply to advice given from outside New Zealand.
United States: attorneys who are licensed and in good standing with a US state bar, or accredited representatives of organisations recognised by the US Department of Justice.
Where representation must be by a licensed practitioner, Ashford will explain this and the options available to you. Regulators and professional bodies in these countries publish registers or directories you can use to check whether a practitioner is licensed.
